Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - part 1
domingo, 2 de janeiro de 2011 || 21:43
Finally, I went to see "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"! This is almost ironic: me, who read all the books eagerly right after they were sold, who know every single thing about HP series... ME, I am one of the lasts persons seeing the film! But, ok. Let's forget it. Better late than never.
So, I went to the cinema. Gahh! How I love & hate cinema. I hate it because of
this and
this. But watching a film in all that screen, the quality of the sound... it's more than AWESOME! :)
It's obvious that I loved every moment of the film, but there were some of them that I adored: Ron/Hermione parts (aww, they were so cute... the piano and touching-hands scenes were my faves); "
My wife is downstairs to be judge!" "
Ron, you don't have wife!" "
Oh, yeah. Right." (ahahah, that Ron is so silly) and "
It's Harry Potter!" "
Yeah, isn't he? We've got to tell the kids."; Xenophilous Lovegood (so lunatic, god!); "holy George" (I'm glad they kept the "holy/wholy" joke, 'cuz it's my fave part of the book, I simply LOVE the Weasley twins); "
Hey looser! He's not here!" (go Neville, whoooo!) and, of course, Bellatrix (I have a lof of respect for Helen Carter Boham and I like all her characters, she's completely fantastic playing Bellatrix, I can't imagine anyone doing it better).
In the other hand, there were strange things in the film. One of them is that dude, the main raptor. Where did they get him? It must have been from My Chemical Romance or Placebo... I mean, he is not in the book. They might have thought that Greyback wasn't enough. Another one, Grindwald in Azkaban?! What?! Seriously, I didn't get it. o_O? Speaking of Grindwald, Jamie Campbell had a really short appearence... I was expecting more ("
I feel youuuuuuuuu, Joannaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
ok, enough!). Harry and Hermione dancing in the tent... didn't like it. And Bellatrix writing "mudblood" in Hermione's arm was too much, that is not in the book and I consider it exagerated... Cruciatus would be enough.
I feel MAD at David Yates! Not even a small, tiny flashback to show us Regulus?! What the hell! They even "drawn" the Deathly Hallows story... but of Regulus NOTHING! I'm with
*viria13, this is discrimination!
Ooooh! I hate the new special features for dementors! :/ I wish we could get "Prisioner of Azkaban"'s dementors again.
Let's not speak about Nagini as Bathilda Bagshot 'cuz it gives me nightmares and chiils.
How could I forget it! Ron breaking the medallion, wow it was exactly like in the book! Wicked ^_^
And I went all
ubzy-doobzy when they appeared in the middle of Picaddily Circus! I've been there, I've been there! :D
I already wrote too much, but, as long as no one is gonna read this, it's allright.
Just to finish, I was watching HP and I could hear, from the cinema room next to mine, the sound of "Adventures of Sammy". Creepy xD
P.S. - Forgot to say that I cried when Dursleys said good-bye to Harry, when Hermione changed her parents' memories to save them, when Ron left Harry & Hermione, when Harry saw his parents' grave and when Dobby died (me & my bros love Dobby :'/).
